1932SummerAnest with four eggs was found by the writer in Polk County, June 2oth. ..
1933Summer '1\ro nests were reported, roth by Sam Grimes. The first, found on June 18th at Thief Lake, Marshall County, contained one egg. The second was found on June 21st in Pennington County, and contained 4 eggs. It was located in a.n alfo.lf'o. field 11/00 feet fram the nearest water."
1934Summer There are no records for the 11 Thunder-pUL'1pcr11 eJccep:t:, that of a bird flushed from a completed but enpty nest at Grand Like by Hiomenz on June 16th.
1935Summer The only observer to report on the Bittern this year wns Dobie, who is stationed at Park Rapids. On June 11th he found 4 eggs.
1936Summer An empty nest of this stealthy creature of the mn.rsh was found by Paul High~/ in a blueberry swamp in St. Louis Co. May 26th.
1940SummerIn a marsh between University Ave. and Hilltop Golf Course (St. Paul) Miss Rhoda Green found a nest with 4 eggs on May 29. At Mendota on June 29, Arnold Erickson and Dana Struthers observed 2 young birds. Mr. A. D. DuBois found a nest of 4 eggs at Lake Minnetonka on June 7·
